This July, the ArtsConnection Teen Reviewers and Critics (TRaC) program will offer Map Free City, a free four-week intensive summer experience for high school students. Participants will explore the best of New York City arts by traveling to arts and cultural events, including visual art exhibitions, film screenings, and performances across the five boroughs. TRaC teens will work with professional artists and writers to publish reviews and writings on the blog, The Journal of Art and Reviews (JAR). Teen participants will receive snacks and a MetroCard to commute to and from the program. Map Free City will take place from 2:00-4:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with additional evening events at least once a week. Click here for more information.
