3T Writing Workshop is a free afterschool creative writing program for public HS students sponsored by Naked Angels Theater.

Performances for Young People
This program exposes school audiences to world-class choreographers and cultures of Spain, Cuba, the Americas, and more. Each performance is narrated and followed by a Q & A with the Ballet Hispánico dancers.

Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute is recruiting student instrumentalists ages 14-17 to form NYO2, a summer orchestral training program with a focus on attracting students from groups underserved by and underrepresented in the classical orchestral field.

Students ages 14-19 are welcome at Carnegie’s FREE afterschool weekly workshops in Concert Design, Songwriting, and Digital Music Production.

LeFrak Class of the Month Essay Contest (Grades 3-12)

The LeFrak Class of the Month Essay Contest invites New York City students in grades 3-12 to submit essays about their visit to the American Museum of Natural History, LeFrak Family Gallery where they can experience Mummies. Winning classes will be invited to a special end-of-school-year celebration at the Museum, receive a classroom library set of non-fiction books worth $2,000 and selected winning essays will be published on the Museum’s website. Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than Friday, January 12, 2018; entries postmarked after that date will not be accepted. Click here for more information and to register.
