Paid Internship for High School Students

Posted in General

Lincoln Center Education’s Teen Internship Program offers high school students the opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes operations of a major arts institution. Through their connections to different departments within Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) and various Lincoln Center constituents, interns explore career pathways in the arts, develop the skills needed to succeed as emerging creative professionals, and build lasting relationships with Lincoln Center and leaders in the field through their contributions as valued members of the institution.
Selected interns are compensated directly from our department with a stipend of $15 per hour for a maximum of 38 hours. Spring internships take place from February 28 – June 5th; summer internships take place from June 5th and end mid- August. Throughout their internship, students are required to attend five professional development workshops (including orientation) and regular check-ins with their internship supervisor. Our application can be found here. The deadline to apply is December 6th.
